Mom was asking about the picture on the title bar. Here's the full version of that, and a few others from Cat Island as well...
The full photo. Devil's Point, Cat Island, Bahamas.
Another view. It's very rare to have an overcast day down there. Usually it's so bright all the colors get washed out. It was gorgeous that day though. Even rained on us some.
Nearing the end of a really complicated survey on Cat Island. Not happy.
After finishing a survey of a really simple flank margin cave. Happy.
Total photon occlusion. My hips were too wide to let me get through this hole. After seeing the pictures, it looks like I could have turned on my side and got through. There was a bit more cave beyond this that I had to sketch. Athena, being tiny, and Mylroie, also being smaller and "slimy", got through. I sketched what remained from this position. While doing so, Athena spooked a bat. I'm blocking the only exit, so he had a tight squeeze between my back and the ceiling of this little hole...

What a lot of beautiful places you've been. Between you and Teal, you've covered a lot of ground. Thanks for posting your pictures. I like knowing more about the places that are important to you.

My mailing address is:
Will Waterstrat
1110 F Blackjack Rd.
Starkville, MS 39759
There's three 1's, and it's apartment F, so you could do "1110 Blackjack Rd., Apt. F" if you wanted, but it doesn't usually make a difference. How is it getting shipped?
Will

Awesome, I'll be looking forward to it.
Checked out that "Volant" boat. Gotta say, penguin was a lot prettier than that one. The pilot house probably makes it a lot nicer below, but I think it looks kinda funky. I don't know anything about boats though. I haven't spent enough time on one to know what's good and what's not. If I ever got a sailboat, and it'll be a long time before that happens, I'd start off with a little dinghy that I could sail alone and take to little islands and camp. One summer, I dreamed up the idea of sailing the Maine coast in something like a 420 or 470 or something similar. Something that I could sail alone, pack a little bit of gear (like you'd do kayaking), find little islands to camp on, tie the boat close to shore for the night and repeat the next day. Sorta like a kayaking trip, but in a little sailboat. Just another one of those goofy things I think would be fun to do some day...

A 420 470 is a bit extreme for easy cruising. It pretty liney and busy, you would be hustling most of the time. But thats a ways off I guess.
Good luck on the test
