Finally had a chance to go down the river right before I took off to California. The river was really low, so there was a lot of frustrating shallow parts where I had to get out and walk, but it was still mostly fun. Never going to run it that low again though. Here's a couple pictures of me goofing around on a flat stretch of the river...

And lastly, here's a picture out of the plane window on the way out of Burlington at sunrise (looking east, obviously).
Camel's Hump is the sorta jagged one to the right of the picture. The fog is in the Winooski River Valley (the river that runs through Montpelier and on to Lake Champlain at Burlington).

sweet boat. You'll have to get that thing down to the Ocoee, Tellico, and Nantahala for some real whitewater.
