We entered Zephyr in "doggy baseball" and "bobbing for balls". In doggy baseball, you run around the bases on a baseball field, but you have to make your dog sit on each base before moving on. Zephyr and I won with a time of 29 seconds. Our closest competition was a little daschund/beagle mut or something with 41 seconds. The "bobbing for balls" thing is just like it sounds, the dogs are supposed to fish some tennis balls out of a tub in a certain amount of time. 2 Minutes I think. One dog got 5 out, and Zephyr was the only one who got another out. She kept pawing at them though, since she hates to get her face wet. It was pretty funny. I'm pretty sure Sam would have been good at the ball thing...

Cool family photo. Glad every thing is going well. Loved the captions on the photos. Yer ma has been in Seattle for the past week or so moving Freddy and MMD into assisted living-so I am batching it all by my lonesome.
We have snow up in the hills. Been in training for DS and downhill, hope to start on the pro tour by mid Dec.
One of the guys I have by cycling with is the US Nat'l 70 yr old champ. He and Janette Marsh from Starkville are in the book "cycling after 50" which sits on my bookself along with "sex after sixty" Thank god they are in extra-large type.
Keep up the good work on the blog, I always look forward to reading it. Hope Kristen is keeping you busy. She must really have alot of brainpower to pull the credit load much less the grades. Make sure yer helping her out.
