Athena's San Sal Pictures

Here are some pictures that Athena took on San Salvador. Enjoy.

Me between taking sights while surveying a tafony/sea cave.

Me, Athena and Kristen at the Shortstop bar. We were playing it safe and drinking OJ.

Kristen being thrown by 4 people at Sandy Beach (body-surfing place).

Kristen preparing a survey station.

The back of my head. Somewhere out North Point.

Kristen and I on Grotto Beach I think...

Cool lighting at Grotto Beach as a storm moves in. We got soaked.

Mylroie preaching about Pleistocene glacio-eustacy.

Kristen and I at Cockburntown Fossil Reef.

Will dude
Ya really launched Kristen/ Is that a camera angle or the real thing. Be careful shes too cool to put up with you
Hope things are well with you both. We are headed to Blaine via Canada to get the boat ready for a sail the following week. Will probably take the full tilt impreza.but climbing into the roll cage is getting pretty hard to do, yet alone getting out of the racing seat.
Again hope al is well, hope you both are doin fine

It's the real thing. She got launched. Probably about 5 feet up and 6 or 7 out. They tried throwing other people too, but she went by far the furthest.
Take some pictures when you're out sailing, I'd like to see you two in action, pushing that boat to the limits. I really miss being on the water though. Even the one powerboat ride we took on San Sal was sorta fun. Too bad this part of mississippi has no ocean, and the part that does is destroyed... Think we can do some sailing or kayaking if we come up to WA next christmas?...
I know what you mean about the roll cage. I've gotten used to it though. And I've lost weight, so the racing seat isn't so tight anymore. Oh man, I wish. Hey, there's one of those Mazda 323 GTX's for sale in Portland, OR if you wanna take a look at it. :)

Don't get me started on the rip-ass rallye car thing. I have already hit the rallye classified on far too many times. There is a webspot in seattle where you can rent a fully prepped rally car or buy one to the tune of about $55k. They also have a full tilt mini for $25k, its several notches up from a Cooper works, but has lots o decals etc. Don't know the status of the car. But I do know yer ma would kick my ass if she even knew I was thinking about it.
Well take it easy. I'm saving up for a new d camera- probably a Fuji s5200
Well gotta eat, listen to Andrea Bocelli and have some wine= should check out Bocelli om itunes- incredible voice.
