Finally back home! Here's some more pictures from my last weekend in Australia (last one of this trip anyway, I have to go back).

Me and a tree fern.

Kangaroo fern epiphytes.

Tree ferns from above.

More tree ferns. So cool.

In the canopy. Blackwood tree. How'd I get up there?

The Otway Flyway! 47 meters up at the highest point and swayed like the trees. Really neat.

Fern gully...

The coast near the mouth of the Aire River. Gorgeous area.

Warning sign at Erskine Falls. No worries!

Vegetation pics for Teal.

Here's some other pics of the vegetation. Really neat little spot. Where we are in Geelong, it's much drier and arid. This is down in an area called the Otway's, along the coast.

Fern Gully. Jess (closer person) is 6'. Seth (background) is almost my height. For scale...

Tree fern? Didn't most of these sorts of plants die off in the Carboniferous? What do you think Teal?

More Australia.

Sorry I've been a bit out of touch lately. Haven't really had too much time for work. Work itself has been fairly typical, with the exception that we're surrounded by stuff that could catch fire and/or explode and destroy an entire city. Not to mention the noxious chemicals like Vinyl Chloride, Hydrofluoric acid, and Hydrogen Sulfide gas. Just another day at the Shell Oil Refinery.
Not allowed to take any pictures of that, but I have taken some more of the beach and stuff.
So here they are...

Bell's Beach.

The Bass Straight (between Australia and Tasmania).

Old Eucalyptus grove.
