Well, it's pretty much decided that we'll be going to Mississippi. I'm quite excited about it. Hopefully Kristen will like it ok, if she decides to come with me. It kind of depends on financial aid for her.
I've been playing around with WorldWind a lot lately and have found all sorts of neat places. In my Advanced Sedimentology class, we've been studying rivers and deltas, and I've found some spectacular examples of meandering rivers in the Amazon basin. It's such a cool program.
There is only a tiny bit of snow left at this point. And that is in places in the shade where there were big drifts. It's great. I've been wearing shorts again. Finally. Down to about 2 weeks of classes and a week of finals. Woohoo. Not sure how things are going to play out after that, so we'll see.
Please let me know somehow if you're reading this. Either comment on here, or let me know some other way. Maybe I should tell more people about this, I don't know. Time for some homework while listening to The Squirrel Nut Zippers. That was the first CD I ever bought, and I still love it...
I'll tell everyone about my final decision after I tell the schools...
