Good News

Kristen pointed out to me that so far, all I have to say is negative. Believe it or not, I'm actually a happy person most of the time, but I do have grumpy moments. I guess I've just been inspired to post when grumpy... Anywho, I decided I'll try to keep things more positive. So, here's some good news.
-My twin brother Ford got married. Went down to KY to watch the ceremony and had a good time. The area was pretty, and I've never seen two people so excited and happy to be with one another. All the best guys.
-I have been offered funding for 2 grad schools, Lehigh University (in Pennsylvania) and Mississippi State University (where I grew up). Both are very good offers. At either place, I won't have to pay any tuition, and I will be PAID over $1000/month to go there. So that's good. I just need to decide where now...
-It finally is Spring! That's right, the snow is almost gone, and the mud has arrived. That's just fine though. Today, driving to school, I was stoked that it was raining. Not that rain is the greatest thing in the world (actually, I quite like it), but mostly because it wasn't snowing. Yay for Spring.
-Kristen's bike is almost done. I bought her a frame and a few vital parts around Christmas, and I've piece it together from various parts I already had. All I need is a nondrive crank arm and it's good to go. I'm really looking forward to riding with her. She's in way better shape than I am, but I got the skillz to pay tha billz. Should be fun.
-The Subaru is running great. I just changed the oil in it for the first time, and it all went well. It's nice that I can actually work underneath this car (as opposed to the Honda). I look forward to being able to do my own car work. I also gave in and decided to put stickers on it. I wasn't sure if I should or not, but since I've seen a lot of Outback Sports around lately, I decided it needed some character. I'm glad I did. I also took off the hubcaps to see how that'd look. Looked more rugged, which is what I was after, but I decided to leave them on a bit longer until all the salt is off the roads.

Alright, I've got to eat some lunch and go to class.
PS - I've made it so anyone can comment on this, so please let me know if you read this. Thanks.

It's so exciting that you're starting something like Grad School! We're going to miss you in Maine. My cousin would be jealous that you're going to grad school. He's your age and has another year left in Geology at Weber State in UTah. Keep in touch, I'll mail the jerseys once we get em and your address.
