yep, that's from AAPG, the American Association of Petrolium Geologists. However, I don't want to work in that industry, even if the money is better. I doubt I'll be making that much, but anything will seem like a lot compared to 11,000 per year which is what my TA pays. Last year it was 9,000...

We'll see about that... As long as I get to live somewhere pretty and work outside at least part of the time, I think it'll be ok. I don't want to work around any noisy drill rigs out in the middle of nowhere, looking at mud, no matter how good it pays...
